Hi, i would like to know what's the next step after Spouse Visa. Recently i've applied my husband for Spouse Visa and he was granted a visa for only 2yrs and a half. So his visaexpires at 2018 January. What should i apply next? Can i apply him a ILR? Does he need financial requirements again? Please help, i know it's a bit to early to ask, i just want to know early so i can prepare.

FLR(M) no sooner than 28 days prior to expiry of leave. Same requirements as initial FLR(M), plus additional documentation of cohabitation, subject to any changes in the Immigration rules. See form for details.

No, the next visa will be for Further Leave to Remain (FLR(M)) . You will need to meet the same financial requirements, unless UKVI increase or decrease them. But for the next visa, you can use the combined earnings of both of you to meet the requirements. You will also need to show that you have lived together during the entire time so you will need to start keeping 6 pieces of official correspondence addressed to you in both names or 12 in individual names, or a combination, spread evenly over the two and a half years. For more information, the FLR(M) form itself gives a lot of information so it iwould be good to look at it. There is now also an online version which might be the only one in use when it is time for you to apply.

Your husband won't qualify for ILR until he has completed 5 years of residence in the UK (2.5 + 2.5 years).

Bear in mind that for FLR(M) applications submitted after 1st May 2017 that A2 level English will be required for FLR(M) extensions. B1 level + the Life in the UK test for ILR. (As the Rules stand at present).
