Cancel current visa for previous visa breach?

Post by latte303 » Thu Nov 24, 2016 5:12 pm

Dear all,

Just a question that I was wondering if people could help with? If you are currently on Tier 2 and if, hypothetically, ukba finds out about breaches of previous immigration rules on a different visa category (e.g. working more than 20 hours on tier 4), could they, in any way, cancel your Tier 2 visa?

Yes, but even more likely when applying for British citizenship.

How would ukba usually find out about what work you're doing on Tier 4? From your NI number or would they do a much more extensive search when you apply for ILR?

This is most hypothetical as UKBA doesn't even exist anymore.

Internal HO processes are, to a large part, a black box.
And this forum doesn't exist to help members circumvent immigration control.

Only those working within the Home Office know precisely what cross-checks are made with HMRC but the level of refusals posted on the forum show that investigations are far more stringent now.
