2016 Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings

Hi all
The 2016 provisional Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) has been released recently on the below link.

A lot of the salaries are similar to last year and some are lower.

Does the Home Office always follow these salaries when they release updated Tier 2 SOC Code of practice next April, if they do ?
The last SOC salaries we have are from April 2014
