Tier 2 Dependent visa - Digital Marriage Ceritificate

Hello Immigration Gurus,

I am currently in the process of extending Tier 2 visa for myself and my wife(tier 2 dependent). I am wondering whether e-copy of marriage certificate is acceptable by UKBA. As it is the only document I have currently and is verifiable from gov of India website. The e-copy also states this

"This certificate is computer generated and does not require any Seal/Signature in original.
The Govt. vide G.O.(P) 6/2013/Law Dated 09/10/2013 has approved this certificate as a valid document for all official purposes"

Has anyone from Kerala/Odisha/Delhi used e-copy of marriage certificate to obtain or extend Tier 2 visa. Any help or advise on this will be highly appreciated.
