Confirmation or Acknowledgement from HO for EEA PR

HI, I recently applied for my EEA PR a few days back but yet to get anything from HO about the application. I need something from HO for my employers to confirm I have made an application. Is there a way to get any such thing. Called them but whoever I spoke to wasn't helpful. Urgently need to provide some documentation

Employers have no right to expect such a confirmation of such an application. Why would they?

If interested in right to work they may conduct ECS in usual way.

And don't expect too much handholding and feedback from HO.

Overall timing end-to-end could be 4-6 months (or more).
