Visa Tier 2 (ICT) (arrived in 2012). Can I stay > 5 yrs?

Post by u01xm11 » Fri Dec 02, 2016 4:26 pm

I have a Visa Tier 2, ICT. I arrived in UK in September 2012 (i.e. after 2010) & already working in UK for 4 years 3 months. Is there any way to stay more than 5 years in UK, if Employer agree to keep me in UK or I must take a 1 year cooling period?

If this is the later case, then how should I apply for my visa again?

Thank you.

Depends on when your ICT was processed.
If processed post April 2011 a mandatory cool-off period applies after 5 years unless your salary is > 155,000

Apply again from country of residence as you did earlier

Thank you.
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.
