Hi,
I would be very much delighted if someone gives me a word to bring me back to peace.
For the first time, I applied for my Tier 2 (General) from Outside of the UK, and my appointment for giving biometric info is next week.
To meet the English Requirement:
I have a PhD that was researched in English, and UK NARIC has issued me two statements indicated as below:
1. Qualification Level Statement: The PhD degree is comparable to British PhD.
2. English Proficiency Statement: The level of English language for the PhD degree is considered to meet the CEFR C1 requirements.
- Although, I have carefully read through all the guidelines available on this requirement, and it seems that everything is safe and sound on my circumstances to be granted the visa ; I am a bit confused.
The questions are:
(1) Based on the information above and considering that this is my first time applying for Tier 2 (General) and I have never been to UK before, can I secure the points relevant to English requirement based on UK NARIC statement as stated above.
(2) What documents do I have to provide on the day of my appointment in addition to UK NARIC statements?
Any opinions on this is very much appreciated.
Thanks
