British passport for my kids

Apply British passport for my two kids born in U.K. but the application still in examination.
Application submitted in July 2016 passport office sent letter requesting for more documents to prove I have permanent resident since 2007 but I have proof from 2009 and they requested letter to prove when acquired Spanish citizenship well I have all those documents in spain well I was so tired of two much documents I just did regisstation for both kids and the certificate of registration came within two weeks sent it to passport office since 15/11/2016 still the application in examination
What should I do now? Any advice
