Reporting your Employer

Post by avrikua » Tue Dec 06, 2016 10:05 am

I know it's quite a tricky subject but did anyone had a courage to go after your Yier 2 employer for not paying you?

I've been working for an employer for 1.5 years withour being properly paid. I tried to resolve it with him myself and then was forced to find another sponsor. However, my first employer still owes me more than 10K and has been quite good at breaking laws (including, giving me my payslips without actually trnsferring my money into my bank account). I turned to ACAS but with no luck and now I am not sure what to do: going to court with him will leave me with legal fees of around 6k (which is more debt) and 99.9% he would claim bankkruptcy so I wouldn't be able to recover these money.

I am trying to deal with this side of the story but I would like to hold him accountable for his actions and make sure he won't do it to anyone else.

Any advice is really apreciated, as I am really lost.
