If an EU citizen is exercising his treaty rights in uk for last 1 year as self employed. If he stop self employmentand show that he has sufficient funds along with comprehensive sickness insurance (CSI) ,will he be still consider exercising his treaty rights ???
will he need to stop self employment or he can be self sufficient along with self employed??

Both self-employment and selfsufficiency are valid categories of qualified person.
Only one category will be accepted at a time in terms of acquiring PR.

The question will be was selfemployment genuine and effective rather than supplementary and marginal to doing something else, for example to being selfsufficient.

I am not sure a legal basis exist for that. A person can exercise treaty rights in many capacity. Not sure the law preclude both being taken into account.
