British passport- application- old passports

Hi All
Just filling in the application form for my british passport. it says to send all the uncancelled passports with the application.

pls correct me if i'm wrong. i have one indian passport which is cut at the corner as its expired and another current passport. am i right in sending in only the current passport and not the cut at the corner passport as its cancelled passport because of expiry.

Yes, your understanding is correct.
Cut passports are examples of passports that have been cancelled and are not needed to be sent.
