No they don't want to see the date of CAR but here they are referring the date of Director's appointment !

If you have been Director of the same company till extension application then you only need to send CAR dated no more than 3 months before the date of extension application, as this will satisfy both conditions as you being a director with 6 months of initial grant and 3 months before extension application.

No, the wording is wrong on the link you cited. The correct wording is from the guide rules, item 149:
If the date on the Current Appointment Report was more than 8 months after your specified date we will not award any points for this section.
which date you might ask ?? Well that is referring to the date from item 148 which says .... the date of
your appointment as a director of that company
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice

Dear Zimba88,
149. If the date on the Current Appointment Report was more than 8 months after your specified datewe will not award any points for this section.
If they mean the appointment date no more than 8 months... Will they accept if the date exactly 8 months after the specified date, if yes, why are the asking for registering within 6 months and they accept 8 months.

And in immigration rules : App.A-46-SD-F-(ii)

(f) Where Table 5 apply and the applicant’s last grant of entry clearance, leave to enter or leave to remain was as a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Migrant, and points were awarded from Table 4, he must provide the following specified documents as evidence of his registration as a director within the 6 months after the specified date in the relevant table:
(ii) If the applicant was a director of a new or existing company, he must provide a printout from Companies House of the company’s filing history page and of the applicant’s personal appointments history, showing the date of his appointment as a director of that company, which must be no more than 8 months after the specified date in the relevant table.

Please clarify
Thanks

This is to provide you (the applicant) a flexibility to cover any admin, technical or other valid issue which causes any delays in your name to be appeared in CA report, Nothing more then that.
So if you become the director of company A within 6 months and due to some admin or technical reason you name appeared on after 6 months but within 8 months, it will be acceptable.

Dear moongesture,
Their requirement is :registering within 6 months..., and CAR dated no more than 8 months. They can say just (C.A.R) to show that.

Hi

The only way to claim points under Table 5 for becoming director (of a UK company) is to show your name appeared in CAR within 6 months. Now if that date appear with 6 months (or with two grace months) it will be acceptable.

I am telling this due to my own experience as when I applied for T1-Ex I was also confused on this and was thinking that CW is looking for a "printout" within 8 months of arrival but that was not the case. The 2 extra months is only to cover any contingency.

Many thanks for your clarification,
Did you submit just one CAR dated within 3 months before application?
