Salary not matching

Post by Smad890 » Sun Dec 11, 2016 4:18 am

Does the home office match monthly salary figures with hmrc or year to date total?
I am applying for visa and the employer has filed wrong figures to hmrc overstating the actual salary by £2000 but the payslips are matching with what i have been paid.

How can they correct that?

They need to contact HMRC and make the amendments accordingly.

They do undertake mandatory check. They will refuse on that basis.

I had a similar case, where the employer paid the sponsor more than what is on his payslips, and Home Office refused, thanks to a judge who exercised evidence flexibility, but others will simply refuse.
