10 years long residency while T1 ENT extension in process

hi dear members

my friends completed 10 years while his extension is in process. he has already booked a date for ILR on long residency but his documents are still with HO. he does not know how to vary the application. if anybody knows plz plz help him out just in sample 2 question.

1 how to vary the application? does he need to e mail the home office or need any document to fill before to go on window for ILR so HO will get his documents on that day ?


2 if anyone has formate of covering letter of 10 YEARS ILR plz provide us coz he has short of time?

I have seen one people in this fornum apply 10 year during extension. You can search, maybe one week ago

He is not short of time because he is in extension process and legally in the UK (under section 3C), better to properly prepare than rush it with expensive mistakes

I assume you mean a premium appointment? Can does be changed/delayed (Me I have only ever been t1e so not allowed to use premium service)

Myself and team member applied for the extension which is still pending.
He, in the mean time, completed his 10 years and attended a premium appointment today, and thankfully his application was approved, while I still wait for my extension application.

He did not do anything, just booked the premium appointment and explained the situation in covering letter, paid full fee, and he has been told he will get refund for extension application.
