Extension- can be before 3 month date?

Hi there

Can you apply for a CoS before 3 months. I have a 3 month date of 20/12/16 but ideally i would like to apply this week. Does it have to be exactly 3 months?

Though it is almost impossible to guess what your question is but following information might be helpful for you.

When the COS is issued, the work start date cannot be after more than three months. Also, the COS can only be used for visa application within 3 months of the issue date mentioned on the COS.
