Hi,
I Have An Inssue Regarding A Retain Right Of Residence In My Case..I Am A Non EEA Family Member.I Married 2008 In Spain With My Wife From Holland..We Both Live In Spain Untill 2011 When We Relocated To Uk.I Apply For Eea Family Permit When Coming To London With My Wife In 2011..So She Like London.So Decide To Stay In London And Start Working In London Since 2011..Then I Return Back To Spain In 2011 Why I Left Her Here In London Due To Closing My House In Spain And Securing My Property Over There...Then December 2011.I Apply For Another EEA Family Permit In London Embassy In Madrid To Visit My Wife In London.Then I Came Back To London In January 2012 To Stay With My Wife.Then Apply For A Residence Card Through My Wife..I Was Granted A Permit For 5 Yrs..So Both Of Us Have Been Working In London Eversince..We Dont Have Kids As We Have Tried To Bear Kids..Then The Relationship Detetoriorate By Decem Ber 2015 And She Parked Out Of The House After I Found Out She Was Dating At Working Place.I File For Divorce And My Divorce Went Through..We Have Not Been In A Good Terms Eversince..Because Her Boyfriend Always Been Agresieve With Me On Phone..Now My Residence Card Will Expire May 2017..And I Need To Apply Due To The Marriage Have Been Broken Down .She Has Been Working From Day One Since She Has Been In Uk Since 2011..But She Never Apply For A EU National Resident Card.Then She Feel Is Not Important Because She Is A European National..Pls I Want To Know If I Can Retain My Right Of Resident As I Am Be Working As Well..I Have Never Been A Burden To Uk..I Have Been On Employment Since I Got My Residence Card Since 2012..Please can anyone help me with useful information..thanks

How long were you out of UK in Spain in 2011?

@noajthan, for about 6 months in 2011,meanwhile i was still on the family permit visa because the family permit was 6 months..so i came to UK 2012 february then i apply for resident card through my wife that have been on emplyment since 2011..i have obtaining RC...in 2012 May...i have been working uptil date..meanwhile my Rc will expire next year May..and i will have to wait for 6 weeks to appky for Degree absolute which will normally take me to february ending next year..so can i apply for retain right after obtaining degree absolute..on my own since my ex partner was present and working in Uk throughout the proceeding of the divorce..please let me know what i can do..

Are you in contact with your ex wife? Can she give you her employment documents.
It is important to check if it was 6 months exact or below six months as that will determine what category you fall under.

she can give me her emplyment document,but she doest want to give me her id..is it possible to submit without my ex id..if she can willing to give me her emplyment document,,

You entered UK in 2011 so if that absence from UK was less than 6 months you could have acquired PR status as early as 2016.
There are ways and means to persuade HO to extract information about sponsor if sponsor is estranged and non-cooperative.
