Child Citizenship

Post by alagesan » Mon Dec 19, 2016 10:57 am

Hi,
I have got ILR on Dec 14 and my son born in India on Mar 15(after ILR).He got Settlement Visa(Nov 16) and came to UK recently, i'm thinking to apply Citizenship for me and my son.

My question is ,does he eligible for Citizenship(child under 18) to apply with me?

is anybody had similar situation like this?

i'm bit concerned what should i do, could some one please guide me?

Thanks

Alagesan

Child is normally expected to be settled in UK in order to make a registration application;
such an application (for a foreign-born child) is discretionary; section 3(1) of BNA.

What is other parent's immigration status and where are they?
