Visit Visa Refusal for Father

My father's visit visa was refused due to a mistake where i stated that he earns 800,000 PKR per month, instead of saying that the 800,000 is annual from rent and stock. The boxes below were correct, which correctly calculates 800,000 if multiplied by 12. I am in the UK and most of the time, i am asked the salary and numbers for the year so it was an oversight where i made the mistake of entering the figure for year.







Now we plan to re-apply with the cover letter mentioning the mistake, and stating that we are not professionals, and this was an oversight, since the form was filled by sponsor who is in the UK and here most numbers are taken into account annually, i mistakenly gave the annual figure instead of monthly.

Secondly, i have told my father to get his tax return updated to show the income of 800,000 per annum, along with other assets mentioned on it.

The shop is on lease and it is a utility store, and the income is £153 since it's a small amount all payments are in cash, which is why it is not deposited into bank account but it will be declared on the tax return.

Is there anything else i should take care of? Please respond as soon as possible because i intend to reapply within the next 15 days.

You need to appreciate that ignorance of the law is not a defense. You have to thread carefully so that a possible ban is not imposed.

Giving false information in an application, whether material or not could reasonably result in a 10 years ban. So try and be careful.

Applicant also needs to persuade UKVI he will go home after visit.
