Hello Gurus,
I applied for naturalisation for myself and two children aged 10 and 2 on 7th september using NCS.
My 10 year old daughter was born outside the UK while my 2 year old was born in the UK.
On November 14, I received a letter asking for 5 years proof of residence for my 10year old daughter. I sent school records the next day.
On 15 December I received my 2 year old's registration certificate.
Today 23/12/2016, I have received a citizenship invitation letter for my 10 year old daughter.
The letter states in part:
"This application has been approved and --------- (Child's name)... may attend the citizenship ceremony as part of the family celebration. They do not have to do so, although we hope that they will......."
I am confused here as I havent received anything for my AN application yet. Does it mean I have to ring the council to arrange my daughter's ceremony or was this a mistake and her certificate would be sent at a later date? Kindly advise
