Urgent - Tier 2 General Visa Extension

Hi All,

I understand that we can upto 6 years of Tier 2 general visa.
My question is:
I have got my first Tier 2 general visa on July 2013 for 3 years valid upto Aug 2016.
After 1.5 years I switched my job and got a new sponsor for Tier 2 general visa. I got my second Tier 2 general visa on Jan 2015 again for 3 years valid upto March 2018.

So on March 2018 my existing will get expired and i will complete 4 yr 8 months (4.7 years) in total. As I will not have completed 4 yr 11 months but march 2018, I believe I am not eligible for ILR that time, I am sort of 4 months.

So what would be my possible options? Can I get further 4 months Tier 2 visa extension to complete 5 years of can I get 1.4 years extension to complete 6 years (maximum year under tier 2) and once I complete 5 years I will have option to switch to ILR or leave country after 6 years?

Also how many times within the 6 years of time frame a person can switch employer and get a new Tier 2 Gen visa? Is it only 2 times we can apply for Tier 2 Gen (3+3 = 6 yrs) or multiple until we complete 6 years?

Can you please help me understand the possible options?

Either option is fine. The application fees will be same for both the options but IHS may differ.

It can be any number as long as the total is less than 6 years.
