Married in U.K want to apply residence card in Spain

Good Morning, I am married in U.K. with eu national & applied residence card in U.K. Home office refused my residence card. They called us for interview ands asked us 474 questions. We didn't matched 10 answer. They detained me after interview. I got bail out after 7 days. On refusl they put marriage of convince. Me & my wife decried to leave UK & go to Spain. Like I got marriage certificate from U.K. We want to apply residency card in Spain. My question is Spanish authorities will accept this marriage certificate. If we translate this into spainish. We will apply on basic of self sufficent put money in my wife account.Quick reply will really helpful for me. Thx in advance.

Spain are reportedly funny about marriage certificates. Read forum or google WWW for more information on this vital matter, including date of certificate, apostille & etc etc.

A 'marriage of convenience' in one country may ofcourse invite increased scrutiny in a.n.other EU state too.
