VAF-2: Some confusion - 5.1,6.1.4,6.1.5,6.4.7,6.4.11,6.4.13

Hi all..


I will be applying for E.C. next week. I'm a bit confused regarding few questions. Hope I find some solution here.

A. On what date do you want to travel?
I haven't planned anything as yet. It all depends on when I get my visa and the job.

B. 5.1 Have you ever travelled outside your country of residence, including to the U.K., in the last 10 years?
I have been to U.S. and Spain but never to U.K. Do I need to put details about my trips?

C. 6.1.5 Details of all work experience relevant to this type of work.
I've more than 7 years of experience. Do I need to give details of all and do I need to provide all 7 years of pay slips and experience letters, which I dont have?

D. 6.4.7 Employer's e-mail address?
Should I mention my H.R's id or my manager's? will H.R's id be suffiecient?

E. 6.4.11 Do you receive income from any other source?
My father has stated that he'll be supporting in case of any financial need while I'm in U.K. so that I do not use any public funds. He has sent his Fixed Deposit statement. I know that should not be considered income but just clearing my doubts. Do i consider that as income?

F. 6.4.13 How much of income is given to family members and other dependants?
I'm married and my wife is my dependent. We have no records of our house hold expenses or her other personal expenses. Do I need to mention any amount or can I leave it blank?

G. 6.4.14 Expenses on living costs?
I've taken loans. Do I need to give proofs or just mention the amount?

Every piece of information will be appreciated.

-- You can put a tentative date as 45-60 days from the date of EC application..say u file on 01 feb 2008, you can mention it as 15 march 2008

-- You have to still mention the US/spain travel details.

C. 6.1.5 Details of all work experience relevant to this type of work.

-- You should mention the 7 years experience details(use additional information page if the space is not enough)..but only current employer payslips are required..other previous payslips not required.

D. 6.4.7 Employer's e-mail address?
Should I mention my H.R's id or my manager's? will H.R's id be suffiecient?

-- HR email id should be fine, but inform your HR about this in advance

E. 6.4.11 Do you receive income from any other source?

-- No this is not a income..

-- You can enter 20% or appropriate amount in this ..this should be filled mandatorily

G. 6.4.14 Expenses on living costs?
I've taken loans. Do I need to give proofs or just mention the amount?

-- The loan details or loan disbursement letter should be submitted to prove the source of funds.
