Travelling with CoA

Post by Mandokinha2701 » Sat Jan 07, 2017 11:45 am

Hi there,

I apologise if my question has been asked before on this thread. Could anyone help me? I have made a Non EEA PR application and have received my CoA and I could fraquear my passport back. I have holidays booked in May (which should be just about at the end of the 6 months period that the application -usually- takes).
If request my passport back and go on holidays with my CoA, would I have problems returning to the UK? What can they say? If that would work, what can I do?

Many thanks

Thanks Vinny.

I read the link you provided. However, can a non national be accepted back in the UK when:
1- Application for PR is still pending.
2- Residence card or Family permit expired
3- Not travelling with the EEA national

Under those conditions, would the non national be accepted in the uk with just the passport and a CoA?

Thank you very much.

Start here:

There's a more recent version on WWW if you can find it but this should give an idea of the welcome you can expect at the border.

So I guess by all means, just wait for their decision.

I just wondered if with the CoA would be a proof that I am still waiting the decision. Once the HO itself return your passport if requested, it just seemed to me it should be a pretty straight forward entry back in the UK

Thank you
