Good morning all,

Ive sent UKVI an email using the link below.

I had 500 characters to enter my query which i did and i submitted it. I received an auto reply shortly after from a the email " donotreply@hgs-ukvi.co.uk " requesting several details " With regards to your query, please provide us the following information so that we can escalate the case: Type of Escalation:, Full name of applicant:, Application number (GWFxxxxxxxxx):, Date of birth of applicant:, Date of application: and loads of other information.

This mailbox doesnt accept any email, so when you reply back with the information you receive a failed to delivery reply.
When i try to use the email form i only have a 500 character limit!!! Which isnt enough!!

It seems they have an auto reply to all emails sent as i sent another email form giving them feedback on this and i received the same reply!

Any ideas on how to contact them without calling them (charging £1.50 per minute! - What a joke!) Or am i doing something wrong?

I can honestly say that I have used these people a few times and found them extremely useless. They are beyond terrible. They have never answered my question and just send me links to their own website (half of which are broken and/or non-relevant). I actually think they may not even be humans, but trained circus animals. Probably ones that have mental difficulties.

As for your query, I think you will need to bite the bullet and call them. As far as I know there is no way to email an email address directly.

As the link makes clear after a few clicks, the service is provided by HGS (Hinduja Global Solutions) UK, on behalf of the UKV&I. It is therefore an outsourced third-party service. You will not be speaking to a person in either the UKV&I or in the wider Home Office. Factor that in when you attempt to contact them.

Also be aware that they are not responsible for the advice they give you. We have had a fair few instances on these forums where the contact center has given incorrect information, even in writing. You are better off posting your query here. There is at least a chance that somebody having gone through the same path as you may respond.
