ICT skills transfer to tier 2 general 2017

Hi,

According to the visa rules of 2016, ict skills transfer visa is discontinued from October 2016. I am in UK since last 4 months on skills transfer and my visa ends in march 2017.Can I switch from ICT skills transfer to tier2 general? Please respond if it's legally feasible to do so. And since this visa is scrapped now, how about the cooling period? Is that not applicable as well?

Cool off of 12 months will be applicable in case you want to move to T2 General. It will not be waived off because the visa is scrapped. It is scrapped for new applications only. The earlier issued ones are still valid.

Would the cooling off period be waved if salary is in excess of new/updated higher earner of £120k or will the current £155 high earner threshold continue to govern for switches from ICT to T2G?

Cool-off will not be applicable in case your T2G salary is £155,300 or higher.
