English Language requirements (Tier 2 to ILR)

Post by imransaeed » Tue Jan 10, 2017 1:57 pm

Hi,

I had taken an English language test 5 years ago at my first entry clearance. That was a Pearson English language test (which is valid till 5 years). Now fast forward 5 years, I am about to apply for ILR, and it seems that I have to take another English test?

The new Set(O) form has a provision for an online English test number (called unique electronic reference number) which is pretty recent.

So, my question is, do I need an English test again?

Patience! You've only waited 20 minutes before bumping this.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

All that is gold does not glitter; Not all those who wander are lost. E&OE.
