Lost Indian passport and VISA in UK

Hi Guys,

I came in UK on TIER 2 Dependent VISA. Unfortunately I lost my Indian passport in London and I had VISA(till 05-March-2017)stamped on the same(Didn't receive BRP). I will receive new passport in one week from VFS.

Can you tell me, what the process of getting UK VISA again on new passport. I don't have plan to stay here and come again on same VISA. I want to travel back in February.

Appreciate any help/pointer in this situation

Hello friend,

Thanks for your response. For this process we need to fill TOC, requirement for that is our VISA should have minimum of 8 weeks validity. This time frame is not available in my case.

Can anyone confirm do we really need UK VISA for returning back to INDIA or duplicate INDIAN passport is sufficient.
I had no plan's to come back to UK on same dependent VISA

Please let me know what action you took? I have a same problem now. Have you obtained the stamping in the new passport or BRP card alone was sufficient while going back from UK?
