Passport will be expired

Good evening everyone

My passport will expire on May, I'm planning to apply for renew it to Moroccan consulate in London next month.
Is that OK? Or I have to wait till April, when it will last only 28 days before applying?

Second question is:
How to transfer visa ( spouse visa) from old passport to new one?
