Advice on Schengen visa application under eu directive

Post by lidia_9 » Mon Jan 16, 2017 6:59 pm

Hi everyone,

I am a Polish national and I have a Pakistani husband , we have a one year old daughter. Our marriage is registered with Nadra in Pakistan plus now I have registered our marriage with polish authorities in Poland as well.

My question here is this that my husband is going to apply in French embassy in Pakistan for a Schengen visa under eu directive 2004/38/ec, would it be necessary that I accompany him from Pakistan to France or it would be enough if I reach France on the same day as his arrival in France .

Second question, what is the success ration of applications under this eu directive

Third question would I have to do travel health insurance even if Europe directive doesn't ask for it?

Fourth question, what main things we should mention in cover letter

Fifth question, do we need to make an itinerary for return to Pakistan

Is there anything we can add to make our application more strong?

Thanks in advance for your time

Regards
