Salary reviewed after ILR application

Post by Khurram545 » Wed Jan 18, 2017 12:31 am

Hi,

I applied for ILR by post in Nov 2016 as Tier 2 G. Now I have increase in salary after annual review.

Shall I update HomeOffice for this?
(New salary will be credit by end of jan)

Does sponsor need to update SMS records?

Regards
Khurram

Yes, The employer still needs to inform UKVI as you have not received your ILR approval yet and technically you are still on Tier 2 visa.

Thanks,

It depends on how big a jump in salary it is. If it is within the range of most reasonable salary jumps people get every year, then you don't have to.

Anything like 15- 20% above is a big jump and hence should be reported.
