hi,

i have a dutch pasport and live in the uk as a student with my parents.
my wife lives in afghanistan. if i am a student do i need csi or not. and if i am not working do i need to show how much my parents are earning. i need to make a copy of my dutch passport can my teacher certify it or is there not need to certify.

please can somebody help me \

Are you dependent on parents (in the context of EU migration)?
If yes, then wife should probably apply as a dependent of your parents too.

If not, then yes, you need CSI to be considered a qualified person in your own right.

You can copy your passport. No need to 'certify' it.

I am dependent on my parents yes. Do I need to show them my parents bank statements. But anyway it all is about my Paspoort and if I have a right to live in U.K yes because I am a student. I called the Ukba and I told them this story they said that you don't need csi. So I am confused

If dependent on parents you have to prove your financial dependence for your essential daily needs.
As such a dependent your activity is immaterial so no CSI required.

But that means you can't sponsor your wife as your dependent - as you are claiming to be dependent on your parents.

You need to get up to speed on dependency.
The document shows how you demonstrate dependency and what a qualified person is.

I am just wondering if there is any need for the certification of the EEA nationals passport or will they accept it without one if you have all the other evidence. In other words will they refuse the visa if you didn't certify it?

As you have now said you are age 20 you don't need to show financial dependency.
You just need to prove your relationship to your sponsor (parent).

The sponsor in UK needs to be a qualified person if they have lived in UK over 3 months..

The sponsor could be your parent if they are a qualified person and applicant can show they are a dependent of your parent.
Or that can be you if you switch from being a dependent to being a qualified person.
If you are a student that means get CSI in place for a start.

i have been refused a visa becasue the fficer siad that the marrige was inconvenience. i only provided one picture of the wedding. so my question is that i have already done a wedding. can i also take pictures with my wife in the park or in a garden. or should it be again marrige pictures.
