Naturalisation as Limited Company Director

Post by hema177 » Tue Jan 24, 2017 2:39 pm

Apologies in advance if my questions have been answered in previous posts but I could not find specifically what I was looking for ...

I am applying for my Naturalisation as a Limited company director, reading through the previous posts I have understood the following :

1.46 - Tick Director
1.47 - Provide your company name
1.48 - Provide your company address
1.49 - Provide PAYE Reference / UTR Reference

My first doubt is regarding 1.50 (employment history) , I have worked as a contractor through my own limited company with various organisations since I arrived in the UK. Do I have to provide the details of the organizations that I worked with or the agencies that I contracted through or can I just provide my limited company address as I was technically employed with my own company throughout? (On my tax returns my employer is my own company )

My next doubt is regarding the P60 - I do not have these as my NI contribution was 0 except for 2015/16, I also do not have payslips/ letter from employer as I was working through my own Ltd company throughout . I do have my tax returns for the last 6 years (since I started working in the UK ), would these be sufficient or would my application be rejected ?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Hema

Your company name if that was your employer.

You just need to provide evidence of having fulfilled tax/NI obligations - part of good character checks.

Thanks noajthan for the clarification.

I've managed to get my P60s from my accountant as we speak. Does it matter if my NI contribution is 0 ?

All my other taxes are fully paid and up to date.

Kind Regards,
Hema

If the liability was zero and all squared with HMRC then no.
