OCI Photo Background color..Please help!!

Hello Experts,

I have taken a Photograph in Photobooth(Photo center in tesco/sainsbury's). there is a option for indian visa.

I used the same service when i surrendered my indian passport and it was accepted.
it has a Very light gray background.

Now in OCI photo specifications, in one place it is written as White background only and in other place it is written as ''Plain LIGHT background"!!!

Im really confused here.

I already uploaded my photo (which has light gray back ground). I need to submit my documents in person next week. im a bit worried now if they would accept my photo or not!!

Did anyone face similar issue!! Please share your experiences.

I submitted my OCI application recently and used the same photos that I used in surrender. It had a light grey background and I was told by the VFS represntative that HCI might not accept it but I went ahead and submitted the application and heard nothing yet from HCI.
