50K Team Extension approved

Post by Bruce_Ho » Thu Jan 26, 2017 10:38 pm

Tier 1 Entrepreneur Team Extension
Applied 11 Nov
Bio 18 Nov
BRP 24 Jan
(Received 26 Jan, Passports and documents same day)

Waiting for IHS Refund.

Thank you for all your help and guidance.

I got 1st Visa on 3 March 2009, and I came to the UK on 21 March 2009. My new visa expiry date is 24 January 2019, so I can apply for ILR with my 5 years Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa. My question is: do I have 2nd option that I can apply for 10 years ILR in January 2019 or vary the application(5 years ILR) which is during the processing time till March 2019 to cover 10 years?

Regards
Bruce

Post by Bruce_Ho » Thu Jan 26, 2017 11:17 pm

Hi everyone.

I got 1st Visa on 3 March 2009, and I came to the UK on 21 March 2009. I got tier 1 initial Entrepreneur visa till Novermber 2016, and tier 1 entrepreneur extension Visa got appoved and my new visa expiry date is 24 January 2019, so I can apply for ILR with my 5 years Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa. My question is: do I have 2nd option that I can apply for 10 years ILR in January 2019 or vary the application(5 years ILR) which is during the processing time till March 2019 to cover 10 years?

If you entered the UK on 21 March 2009, then you may be taking a risk applying 10 years ILR in January 2019.

You've already been given this good advice by Vinny.

You can apply no earlier than 28 days before the end of the 10 year residence. January is too soon.
