FLR (M) 5 year route extension - Time outside country

Hi Guys,

I seen many posts and the help provided by experts on here - I want some as well please.

My wife is applying for extension in march 2017 but only big issue is that she was out of the country for more than 1 year and while she was away I was with her for 5 months.

She was outside UK for IVF treatment and after treatment she cannot fly back due to health risk.

my question is does this pose any risk of her getting the extension and can we use the premium service for the same.

I got all the doctors documentation from India.

To the OP; what visa are you on? What spousal visa (PBS dependent or family of a settled person/FLRM) is your wife on?

The link you are citing deals with PBS migrant dependent. Not sure how it will assist in this case.

In any event i don't believe restriction on residence are applicable to people under Appendix FM.
