Hello,
Many thanks for the anticipated feedback.
I have ILR and my partner's dependant visa on me is due to expire in March 2017. I was on tier 2 visa before I got my ILR in Marched 2016. While my partner was filling in the online application for Tier 2 Dependant extension, we realised that my sponsor licence number expired in Dec 2016. I was the only person ever sponsored by my employer and there is no plans to renew the licence as it's no longer needed.
I spoke to my sponsor about the issue for advice and they emailed business helpdesk asking for advice. Unfortunately as this is not the business helpdesk call, they only advised my employer to give me a letter to accompany my partner's application. Obviously they forgot that without the licence number one cannot progress with the application online so not sure where the supporting letter from my company would be attached. It just shows they do not understand the online application well. Anyways my sponsor asked to call immigration help line for advice.
I called the regular support line. Unfortunately this issue was beyond the person that answered the call so she kept me on hold for awhile, she came back and advised that I should email online application support that they do not deal with online issue.
I emailed online support since Tuesday 24th January 2017 and yet to receive any reply. Their automated reply says if it's not a technical issue that they will not reply. I do not think this is a technical issue either so they probably have ignored my email.
My partner intends to travel early March 2017 and wants this visa renewed before the travel. We are lost at this point as it says for this route you must apply online. I am just wondering if anyone has come across this situation and what action did you take please. We are in a dilemma & I will really appreciate any advice from you gurus so we can move this application forward.
Thanks so much for your swift response.
Regards,
