Tier2ICTbefore Apr'10 valid till '17(1YrGap) Can swtch T2G?

Hi All,

I have Tier2 ICT visa before April 2010. Same visa is continuing now and its valid till mid 2018. But I have gaps too. Please find my stay details as follows.

1. March 2010 to Nov 2010.
2. July 2011 to Nov 2013
3.Nov 2014 till ..Visa valid till Aug 2018.

Can I switch to T2G in 2017? Will this give be eligibility for ILR?

what are other options for ILR?

Yes, as all of your extensions have been in country and your initial grant was before April 2011

Will this give be eligibility for ILR?
You will be eligible in the current route in Nov 19. You do not need a switch to Tier 2 G for ILR

Stay in current route or switch to Tier 2 G and apply in Nov 19

You will be eligible in the current route in Nov 19 provided your meet your absence and other requirements. You do not need a switch to Tier 2 G for ILR

Thanks poper. But my existing visa is till 2018 Aug , I am not sure if my employer will get this extended.

Secondly switching to t2g, has few issues with some 6 year rule that came in April 2014, so I wanted to know that if it's possible for me to shift to t2g at all, so that I can get ilr.

I had 1 year gap, due to my very precious pregnany. I went back but could not return due to unexpected death of my Fil . Can any solicitor help?
