I have no visa in the UK, invitation for parents to visit

Post by vicka » Sat Jan 28, 2017 1:21 am

Dear all,

I applied for a residence card and still waiting for a visa. My husband is EU national and I am not. Literally, I have no UK visa yet as I came here without applying a family member of EU national visa. Can I/my husband invite both my parents to visit us if I have no visa, only a letter from HO that my case is in progress?

Only my husband is working and we are a bit of short of money. But my parents will pay travel and etc. We just will provide a accommodation. Both my parent are working, have a property and savings. Will it be ok to give them visitors visa?

There are no visas on EU route so you will not receive a 'visa'.

Visitor may apply to visit UK in their own right.
What's important is to show they will return home.

Thank you for your answer!

What I meant was I have no documents to confirm my status in here.

Would it be a good idea for my parents to come here as tourists without even mentioning our invitation. Wouldn't it be misleading?

Thank you.
