IELTS UKVI question?

Hello, just want to know i read in some documents but can't locate it atm that IELTS for UKVI test General Training can also be used for spouse visa application if scored 4.0 or above in speaking & listening. Is that correct or A1 test is compulsory?

Only qualifications on the approved UKVI list of test & test providers will be accepted.
