Applying for visiting visa for Grandma from Pakistan

Hi everyone,

I hope you can help me here please.

My mum would like to see my nan from Pakistan so we thought it would be a great idea if we could surprise my mum and sponsor my nan to the UK for 4-5 months. However we are completely new to this so we need a little help.

My nan does not have a passport so we will be applying for a new one. She did visit the UK over 11 years ago which history I believe will not be taken into account.

My questions are
1) what documents does she have to present? She does not work and lost her husband in the army in 1972. She receives state pension and as far as I believe she does have funds available.

2) can I sponsor her though I live with my sister? She does have adequate space and is happy and supportive for nan to live here. Currently 3 adults living here. My sister does not have a mortgage on her property and fully entitled to the property.

My friends dad applied for his mum and he provided a letter from his employer. Would I also need to show that?

3) what documents do I need to present- a letter from my sister saying she's happy for nan to live here, 6 months payslips, 6 months bank statements? Do I need to show title documents utility bills, my brother in laws income etc as she will be living here though I'll be fully sponsoring her?
