Documents required for first adult passport overseas

Post by ApplicantWarsaw » Tue Jan 31, 2017 4:31 pm

My son recently applied for a first adult British passport (he recently turned 16 years).

He has a British Father and a Polish Mother and the application was made from Warsaw Poland as an overseas application.

Completed the on-line form, very easy and no issues and paid using payment card. Sent the hard signed copy together with all the required supporting documents as indicated in the guidance notes including witness signature, countersigned photos, etc. Some documents had to be translated from Polish to English.

When I checked the on-line tracker to confirm they had received the package, I discovered the passport application was turned around in three days and he received the passport together with the returned supporting docs (separately) within 7 days!!!

I expected he would need to attend an interview at the British Embassy but this was not requested.

Excellent service!!!
