I worked illegally before my FLR FP application

Post by Mary93 » Tue Feb 07, 2017 4:45 pm

Hi everyone

I have been worrying about my application. I worked illegally for 2 years with my NI and I have need been caught by immigration officer. I stopped working before I submitted my FLr fp parent route. Will this affect me from being granted a leave to remain

In itself being caught working illegally will not cause the refusal under FLR(FP). The issue will be more to do with the behaviours you exhibited after that and any paperwork issued to you at the time.
Were you asked to report on a regular basis to the Home Office and did you do so?
Were you issued with removal directions and failed to report?

Those are the more worrisome aspects however the whole idea of FLR(FP) is to allow you to demonstrate why your family and private will be unreasonablely damaged if returned home.

There is a high refusal rate.

No I wasn't ask to report and I have never been arrest. I'm just worried because I have worked illegal with false id but I didn't get arrested before I quitted. I included my Ni number in my application so they might find out I have worked previously

If your employer actually paid tax and NI against the NI number yes that will show up. Will it be an issue, not going to damage your position assuming you were an overstayer?

Note Frontier Mole's advice above. Where is your child's other parent?
