Suggestions related to FLRO Application

Post by mani09 » Fri Feb 17, 2017 10:52 pm

I came in to UK in Feb 2011 on Tier 4 visa, I've completed my masters in computers successfully in March 2012. After that I got PSW visa in Aug 2012 which got finished in Aug 2014. Then I got Tier 2 General visa in Sep 2014 which supposed to last till Sep 2017. But my sponsored company's license got revoked in Oct 2016 and I got the curtailment letter from Home Office with the end date in Jan 2017.

So, I've been suggested by solicitor to file the FLRO application for me and my wife both (she came to the country in Jul 2016 as my dependent) though she haven't got the curtailment letter from HO.

Now, I'm looking for some other sponsor but no one is ready to give COS coz' I've filed the FLRO and I'm thinking to do Tier 4 visa for my wife so that I can be her dependent but I've also filed the FLRO for her too so don't know the possibility of her getting Tier 4 visa.

Anyone please help...

thanks

I am afraid the FLR(O) route is very much seen as the last ditch attempt of the desperate. There is very little chance of it being granted and subsequently potential sponsors are wary of entertaining individuals using it as a means to remain.

Your tier 2 is curtailed so you have no right to work and to gain work you will need a RLMT. Given your previous associations with a revoked sponsor any company offering you a tier 2 visa will be subject to a high level of scrutiny. Your application will also be treated with suspicion post your FLR(O) application.

As for the tier 4 route. I doubt there will be a single university that will remotely consider a CAS for your dependent. You will probably be told that she can apply from your home country bearing in mind your circumstances. FLR(O) rings too many alarm bells for the universities now given the far harsher rules on refusals and the impact of maintaining their tier 4 licence.
