Tier 2 General Tax history Issue

Post by siva_b » Thu Feb 23, 2017 8:48 pm

Hi there,

I have a quick if you can able to answer please.

I did get my first Tier 2 General visa on 2nd Of May 2012 (Issued date) as I requested employment history (tax history) from HMRC to know how much I have paid tax so far, as it was showing that I have paid the tax from 1st of June 2012 onward. It was not showing that I have paid the tax for month of May 2012.I don't know why it did show in the tax history.

As I will be going for ILR in 1st week of April 2017, do I get any problem if no tax paid for month of May 2012?

Will be great if you know any information.

Speak to your employer, they should be paying the tax to HMRC under PAYE...

It shouldnt be a problem.
Have u seen how much tax has been paid overall in 2012/13. Your employer may have started paying in may, but paid your may tax in June. back in 2012, real time submissions were not mandatory.
