Tier 2 sponsor Renewal process

Dear Members,

My employer recently applied for Tier 2 sponsor renewal, i was told that the process can take upto 8 weeks and my query is about HO visit during the renewal process,

Do they normally visit and check compliance in every case?

What documents are checked by them during visit?

Renewal visits do take place however there usually is a reason as to why a Sponsor is selected. One main reason is if the Sponsor has not been visited in the last licence cycle.

If there is a visit it will be a full compliance audit so it is a case of checking everything in relation to the Sponsor duties, RLMT, salary payments, attendance monitoring, preventing illegal working. There is little to limit the scope of their enquiry.
