So I have just applied for a EEA2...
And then it's struck me:
My husband, who is my sponsor, is a qualified person and therefore we supplied everything that's required when applying using that route.
However, he used to have a joint bank account with his former partner and due to an overdraft that was hanging in that account, we couldn't close it until this February (before my application).
Home Office knows about this joint bank account issue and why we couldn't close it etc etc as we had to explain all of that when I was applying for EEA FP.
So with this EEA2 application we have attached the last 6 months worth of statements of the OLD bank account, where it also says that this account has now been closed (so no money whatsoever in it), and a letter from a NEW bank saying here's your new card and so on. So no statements with any balance...
As we simply haven't had enough time to even complete the online banking registration.
We did supply payslips/letter of employment and the rest and you can see the wages coming in in the old account but it still worries me a lot now.
My husband also wrote a cover letter explaining that he had just closed the old joint account and opened a new one so that's why there are no statements from the new bank account.
I have not supplied any of my bank statements or anything as I thought it would be irrelevant.
Shall I be worried about this? Or do you think this should be fine?
I apologise for such a lengthy post and thank you in advance!!
