Previously Tier 4, currently Tier 2 General, waiting on new employer to acquire Tier 2 General.

They submitted the CoS/RLMT application on Friday, and said they 'received verbal confirmation of a decision within 5 days.' I always thought that restricted CoS applications had a deadline of the 5th of any month to be decided by the 11th? Is this not the case any more, or has my new company misunderstood?

Your not on a restricted COS if you are an in country applicant.
