Tier 2 Dependent Supporting docs (Original or scanned)

Post by rachel2212 » Sun Feb 26, 2017 7:54 pm

Hi there,

I'm in the UK and my husband is going to apply for Tier 2 dependent visa from India. I want to know which of the following documents that I need to send from UK as original or scanned via email

1. Support Letter from Tier 2 A rated sponsor for maintenance of funds
2. COS
3. Tenancy Agreement
4. Six months pay-slips
5. Passport and visa copies
6. Covering letter

Also, Do I have to get the passport or visa copies attested here in the UK. Is that mandatory.
Please let me know if I have missed anything.

Thanks very much in advance for your help.

Soft copies of documents are fine. Attestation is not required from UK.

Point to note - Since your husband is applying after you, you should also consider sharing some proof of continuing relationship (e.g. call logs, chat logs, whatapp logs and on). UKVI has become strict nowadays and they expect such proofs as well. You can search this forum for many such cases of rejection due to this reason.
