Travelling to Jersey with tier 4 visa

Post by intothewild » Mon Feb 27, 2017 4:17 pm

Hi,

I am from Ukraine and I am currently living in the UK with a tier 4 general visa which lasts for eleven months. I am planning to travel in April. Can I travel to Jersey and Guernsey without a separate visa? Also, can I travel to Ireland?

Thanks.

AIUI Channel Islands are ok, you can visit Northern Ireland too but not Eire without an Irish tourist visa...

See https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... l-area-cta

Paragraph 15 of the Immigration Rules states that the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland collectively form a common travel area. A person who has been examined for the purpose of immigration control at the point at which he entered the area does not normally require leave to enter any other part of it. .
