Applying as the grandparent of an EU child

Post by npayne27 » Wed Mar 01, 2017 2:04 pm

Hey everyone,

By Gods grace, I am in Ireland with my Husband and two daughters. My Husband is from Ghana and we are British. We will apply for the EU1 form next month and when he gets the stamp 4 can start work. I am already self-employed teaching online. When he starts work, I will need serious help with our two children because one is jus a baby and I can't teach with the baby. I have no family here and no family that can help me, my own mother is not well enough to help. I want to apply for my mother-in-law from Ghana to come and help me. So can she apply as the family member of an eu citezin, but my daughter will be the eu citizen not me, if that is the case, how would my baby exercise treaty rights? or if my older daughter goes to school is this exercising rights?

Thanks
